a. I class M.Sc. degree in any branch of Life Sciences
b. Ph.D. in the relevant area supported by good publications

b. Plant molecular biology and biotechnology
c. Microbial molecular biology and biotechnology
d. Biochemistry, medical biochemistry, diagnostics, vaccines and drug targets
e. Fermentation technology: process development and down stream processing
f. Host–pathogen biology and clinical bacteriology
g. Human molecular genetics
