Highlights:
1. A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the research group of Professors Gary R. Weisman and Edward H. Wong in the Department of Chemistry at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, New Hampshire, USA.

2. The project is a National Institutes of Health (National Cancer Institute)-sponsored effort with Professor Carolyn J. Anderson of Washington University School of Medicine to synthesize and evaluate second-generation metal chelators for radiodiagnostic (Positron Emission Tomography) and radiotherapeutic applications.

3. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. (minimum requirement) in organic chemistry or inorganic chemistry, a strong background in experimental synthetic organic chemistry, familiarity with or a commitment to learn inorganic coordination chemistry, interest in working on an interdisciplinary team, a strong work ethic, an ability to communicate effectively, and an ability to write drafts of research papers in English. Further details of the project will be provided to prospective hires.

4. The term of the appointment is one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year if progress is exceptional. The position is available immediately and will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is identified.
