Postdoctoral Scholarship in Portugal

2. The Research Centre for Chemical and Process Engineering of Forest Products, Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra (CIEPQPF / FCT / UC) offers a Post-doctoral fellowship within the
   PTDC/EQU-ESI/108374/2008 project, entitled: "Developing an integrated framework for monitoring and control of industrial systems and biological
   complex using partial correlation methods and information theory" with the following characteristics: Recipients: PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and related areas.
3. Venue of the Scholarship: Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology  University of Coimbra.

1. Length of Grant: 12 months (with possibility of extension up to 36 months).
   Financial Condition of Grant: € 1,495.00 (salary according to the values stipulated by the FCT for grants  Post-Doctoral and Research) plus Social Security and Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance.
2. Candidates should preferably have prior experience in the fields of Supervision and Control
3. Processes and Chemometrics / Multivariate Statistics. The ideal candidate should also have a good command  
4. English language ability and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
   Selection Criteria: i) Adequacy of the merits of the candidate profile and the needs of the project; ii) Previous experience in the area of the tasks to develop (Supervision and Control Processes, Chemometrics,
   Simulation); iii) Motivation, autonomy and entrepreneurship; iv) ensuring preferential terms; v) Interview.
