- Submissions are invited for the award of a Grant Research Assistant under the project entitled "Development of acid catalysts based on mesoporous organosilicas to periodic reactions in the presence of water."
- Term and Conditions of Activity: The fellowship will last for three months and is scheduled for June 2010 on an exclusive basis, as the regulation of Advanced Training of Human Resources FCT ( http://www.fct.mctes.pt/pt/apoios/ formation / ambitoprojectos ), Regulation of Scientific Research Grants from the University of Aveiro - Order of 13 April Mrs. Dean - published in the Official Gazette by decree No. 9887/2005 (2nd series), of May 3, and the Status of Scientific Research Grant, approved by Law No. 40/2004, dated August 18. The fellowship can eventually be extended for a further period of three months.
- Purpose of Activity: The scholarship is aimed at the preparation of mesoporous materials organic-inorganic hybrids.
- Scientific Orientation: Is the office of Dr. Paula Ferreira.
- Education: Recipients of the scholarship are licensed in Chemistry, with final mark of 12 points. They should also have availability to perform scientific stage a few weeks in foreign labs.
- Remuneration: The financial components of the fellowship is € 745 / month, according to the table of values of the Research Grants awarded by the FCT in the country. The periodicity of payment of the scholarship is, therefore, monthly and bank transfer.
- Application documents: Applications must contain the following documents:
- Curriculum vitae (including e-mail);
- Copy of certificate of qualification with a breakdown by classification of disciplines;
- Copies of any published work of which is co-author;
- Copies of ID card and Tax ID number.

- The result of the selection process will be announced via email.
- Date of Commencement and Completion of the period of the contest: The deadline for receipt of applications will be 06 to 20 May 2010.
- The criteria for assessing applications are:
- Consideration of the CV and previous work in science, into which the project (experience in synthesis, knowledge of basic characterization techniques, publications);
- Knowledge of English the regular level written and oral;
- The result of the interview where candidates called.
