PhD in Applied Economics in Africa

The Conference of Education and Research Institutions in Economics and Management in Africa (CIEREA) is pleased to announce, as part of the academic year 2012-2013, its scholarship program for PhD in Applied Economics in the context of the Interuniversity  Postgraduate Program in Economics (PTCI).
Designed for the formation of high-level economics, performance, competitive and operational, PTCI has the support of several partners technical and financial. Lessons for obtaining the PhD in economics are organized on a single campus where students take a first step, the common core courses. After this core curriculum, students take specialized courses that can place on another campus. The campus of specialization may be the same as the Campus Courts at Common Options (OSCC) receiving Master students. The training duration is three years, including three semesters. Before being admitted to a thesis, candidates must first have successfully passed the comprehensive examinations held in the core courses (Microeconometrics, macroeconometrics, econometrics) and one or two option courses. The information relating to the provision of training are available on the website of the PTCI
