Meerpoel), the research team Organic Synthesis of the Department of Chemistry announces the availability of a full time postdoctoral position.
  4. Job description: As an employee of the research team Organic Synthesis of the Department of Chemistry you will develop and subsequently apply new synthetic methodologies in the challenging area of transition metal-catalyzed C-H activation.
  5. Your research is expected to contribute to the identification of novel molecular entities for biological evaluation.
  1. The ideal candidates for these positions will have a PhD in organic chemistry with experience in transition metal catalyzed reactions, purification techniques and structural characterization of organic molecules.
  2. The ability to work in a team as well as good communication/writing skills and a good mastery of the English language is essential. Experience in the field of transition metalcatalyzed C-H activation is an advantage.
  3. Additional info: The University of Antwerp offers you a contract of 1 year. The salary is based on the scale of Doctorassistent as defined by the Flemish government. Relevant experience will be taken into account.
