PhD position in Electrochemistry: Nanosensors


Highlights:
1. Prospective graduate students should have a BS or MS in Chemistry, Physics or related discipline (as long as there is a strong chemistry component). Prior experimental experience is a plus but not essential.

2. Expertise in the following areas would be useful; microelectrodes, voltammetry, surface modification, metal deposition, sensors, electrochemistry, carbon materials, microscopy [Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM)].

3. Type of funding: Both public/private sector funding (Grant)

Precision on the financing: Students admitted to our PhD program in Department of Chemistry in Temple University will receive full financial support a stipend ($22.5k/year for 2008-2009) and paid health insurance and do not need to pay tuition. We admit student for Fall and Spring

Wage: $22.5k/year + insurance + full tuition waiver
