2. You will play a key role in developing a new novel method which will be used to create a better understanding of the interfacial phenomena of mineral and bacteria in solution. The project is focused on the study of physicochemical properties of the attachment and the interaction of the microbial and mineral surface in different environmental conditions.
3. To be successful for this role you will have a PhD in physical chemistry, colloid and interface, surface chemistry, bioleaching, nanomaterials, biomaterials or other related field and have less than 3 years postdoctoral experience.
4. You will also have a demonstrated ability in solving conceptual and experimental problems in one or more of the following areas: surface chemistry, physical chemistry, materials science, microbiology or biomaterials.CSIRO Minerals offers you a well equipped laboratory environment, the support of an innovative research team, with excellent career and development opportunities.
