She/ he
will complement research areas pursued at VGSCO and will conduct original
research independently. She/ he will participate in the Graduate School’s
teaching, research and administrative activities and contribute to linking the
Graduate School with the national and international scientific community,
cooperating with other academic departments/institutions and supporting PhD
students. She/ he administrates the series of guest lectures and workshops and
actively participates in the selection process of Visiting Professors.
Experience in teaching and administration at university is of advantage.
Employment (40 hrs/week) is based on a 3-year contract.

applicants for a Doctoral position (PhD) at the National University of Ireland (NUI),
Galway. This position represents a collaborative research project between the Science
Foundation Ireland, Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CÚRAM) at the
National University of Ireland, Galway and the AO Foundation. This Doctoral position
is available from December 2016 for four year (48 months).
