Postdoctoral position in Organic Chemistry in France

Highlights:
1. The Unité de Chimie des Biomolécules (UCB), Department of Structural Biology and Chemistry at the Institut Pasteur (Paris, France), has an opening for a full-time postdoctoral research position in glycochemistry.

2.  This postdoctoral position is available from October 2009 for one year and possibly subjected to a one year renewal.

3. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary network of organic chemists, structural chemists, microbiologists, and immunologists.

4. He/She will take part in a research program dedicated to the development of new anti-infectious vaccines. He/She will be responsible for developing efficient innovative synthetic strategies to complex bacterial oligosaccharides, and conjugates thereof. Besides, he/she will be involved in the development of new purification and analysis methods suitable for the later targets.
