Organic Synthesis post doc position

Highlights:
1. Two Postdoctoral Positions: Organic Synthesis and Nanomaterials

2. The first one is on the synthesis and modification of biologically active compounds, in particular carbohydrates and peptides, and the development of highly efficient catalysts with low cytotoxicity for bioconjugation via click reactions.
3. The second one is on nanopatterning of organic thin films, modification of AFM cantilever tips and nanoparticles.
4. Successful candidates should have a strong background in organic synthesis or surface science as demonstrated by a record of publications in top journals.
5. The position with a competitive salary (>$35,000) is initially for 1-3 years.

PhD position in Life Science

Postdoc in Enzymology, Wayne State University

Highlights:
1. A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Wayne State University to study a unique set of enzymes involved in de novo purine biosynthesis in microorganisms.
2. The position requires a Ph.D. in biochemistry, enzymology or a relevant field and experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, and enzyme kinetics is required.
3. The position involves the site-directed mutagenesis of enzymes, determination and analysis of kinetic properties of these mutants and the characterization of the enzymes mechanism.
