Transition-Metal Catalyzed Nitrogenation of Hydrocarbons
Catalyst Evolution by Dynamic Templating (with Transition State Analogs)
Chemicals and Fuels via Deoxydehydration of Biomass-Derived Polyols

4.  Preferred background for candidates:
- synthetic and/or mechanistic organic, inorganic, organometallic chemistry and/or homogeneous catalysis
- tools: air-free techniques, compound isolation, characterization by spectroscopy, kinetics, QM computational methods
- Ph. D. completed

5. Stipend: $30,000/yr (+ health insurance); 1 year appointment with extension possible by mutual agreement
