Highlights:
1. A full-time postdoctoral position is available at UC San Diego.
2. We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join our laboratory.
3. We are interested in structure-function studies of protein complexes involved in DNA repair process using a combination of x-ray crystallography, biochemical, and biophysical techniques. Qualifications: Successful candidates should have received a Ph.D. degree in structural biology, biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline.
4. Applicants with experience in cloning and expression of recombinant protein in bacterial, yeast or insect cell systems, large-scale protein purification, macromolecular crystallization and structure determination are preferred.
5. Applicants with a strong background in protein and nucleic acids biochemistry are also encouraged to apply. Good written and oral communication skills are essential.
