Department of Physics, Calcutta University ,Kolkata,West Bengal ,invites applications for admissions to PhD programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011.
Admissions will be made on the basis of an entrance test conducted on March 7, 2011 from 12.00 noon. UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET/SET/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship/M Phil/M Tech qualified candidates are exempted from the test.
How to Apply for PhD in Physics at Calcutta University
Interested candidates can download the application form from the university's official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. Candidates are required to pay Rs 100 through a challan obtainable from College Street Campus (sales counter). The duly filled application form along with the challan should be submitted to the Office, Department of Physics. For further details, candidates can visit the university's aforementioned website.
