Recruitment for the position of “Post Doctoral Research Associate” and “Project Assistant” under funded projects

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions on contract basis under the funded projects:

Ph.D. (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or allied Sciences). Minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade at Masters Level. The project aims to list the SUMO proteome of Drosophila. Candidates should have work experience in the areas of Drosophila genetics, Proteomics, genetic engineering or Biochemistry.

Preference will be given to candidates with good academic / industry records and capable of managing a project independently.

Work with a team of graduate students and project assistants to demonstrate novel roles for the posttranslational modifier SUMO using Drosophila as a model system.

Fellowship: Up to Rs 40,000/- per month consolidated based on academic record and work experience of the candidate
