Candidates are required to apply online through www.cutn.ac.in. Online application will open on 18/06/2012 and close on 17/07/2012. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The last date for online submission of applications by the Candidates for Faculty Recruitment on Regular Basis is 17/07/2012 and last date for receipt of printout application with enclosures is 31/07/2012. Allowances are admissible to the employees of the University as per the rules of the Government of India/UGC, which may change from time to time.

1. Five non-compounded advance increments shall be admissible at the entry level of recruitment as Assistant Professor to persons possessing the degree of Ph.D. awarded in a relevant discipline by the University following the process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as prescribed by the UGC.
2. M.Phil. degree holders at the time of recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor shall be entitled to two non-compounded advance increments.
3. Those possessing Post-graduate degree in the professional course such as LL.M./ M. Tech. etc., recognized by the relevant statutory y body / council, shall also be entitled to 2 non-compounded advance increments at the entry level.
