Postdoctoral position in asymmetric catalysis at University of Maine

Highlights:

1. A postdoctoral position in organocatalysis in the research group of Pr. Christine Saluzzo located in the University of Maine in Le Mans (France) is available for 12 months starting as soon as possible (salary: 30,000 euros pa).
2. The work is focused on the synthesis of new ligands issued from the biomass and their evaluation in asymmetric catalysis and organocatalysis.
3. Applicants must have a PhD in organic chemistry.
4. The successfull candidate will have a strong background in organic synthesis and have good skills in usual analytical techniques.
5. An experience in asymmetric catalysis and/or organocatalysis is requested.
